Dear EDUCRO project participants! Thank you for being with us this year! We hope that together we were able to provide you as much value as possible in these unexpected circumstances. Together we have learned how to work together and collaborate online. Still, we are constantly looking for new ways of interaction and learning. We organized various events, such as a seminar, focus group, panel discussion, masterclass, networking events, webinars and workshops online. Together we learned new things from experts and from each other. Thank you for your active participation and fruitful discussions in our events, you are the central part of them!
We learned from you that the most motivating thing in the project was live networking and meetings. We still have time and we hope there will be a possibility to travel and meet all together next year. We will continue our training and networking programme online next year, and promise there will be plenty of interesting activities, such as workshops with international level experts, networking meetings and collaboration sessions with colleagues from the other side of the border. We will help you to develop your business ideas further, find relevant partners and funding, and make your ideas a reality.

Yesterday, on 16.11.2020, EDUCRO project team, Olg

Yesterday, on 16.11.2020, EDUCRO project team, Olga Bogdanova and Taina Vuorela, participated as jury members in the Shark Tank event at LAB University of Applied Sciences. 7 student teams presented solutions to the challenges, provided by the EDUCRO participants: the Museum of Lappeenranta and Imatra Base Camp. The "Sharks" were positively surprised by the novelty and quality of proposals. The winning team proposed 3 new service concepts for the Museum of Lappeenranta which they believe will bring more youth audience. The students received prizes from the EDUCRO project and were invited to participate in the online event "Identifying future opportunity – moving from crisis management to future building". In the special nomination category was a solution for the Imatra Base Camp - a well-thought idea of organizing sports events at First Snow Ski Track together with educational organizations. The solutions will be provided to the companies and may become a first step in building new international services.

EDUCRO project cooperates with students. On 12.10.

EDUCRO project cooperates with students. On 12.10.2020 students from the International Business programme at LAB brainstormed solutions for the challenges provided by the participants of the EDUCRO project, the Museum of Lappeenranta, and Imatra Basecamp. They will continue working on the ideas using knowledge gained from Value Through Innovations and Service Design courses and will provide a final solution during the Shark Tank event on 16.11.2020. The ideas relate to improving social media performance and ticket sales processes. #enicbc

The series of seminars “New Reality – New Oppo

The series of seminars “New Reality – New Opportunities. Development of Cross-border Cooperation and Innovative Projects in Culture and Tourism” has been successfully accomplished in St. Petersburg. The series was organized by the Institute for Cultural Programs and the Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg branch within the 🇫🇮🇷🇺🇪🇺 EDUCRO project. During 6 weeks the participants of the seminars from St. Petersburg had online and offline meetings with experts and managers from culture, tourism, and creative industries to improve their professional skills for potential cross-border projects. This intensive course of seminars corresponded to the nowadays demands in up-to-date management and marketing models for cultural projects development.

The series of seminars became a step on the way to developing efficient professional communication between Finnish and Russian cultural managers and the creation of new project initiatives.

We started our training programme at EDUCRO! We have had an international online Festival and Event Management Masterclass by Paul Gudgin on Monday, 07.09.2020. Feedback from participants shows that the online format worked well. Many thanks to participants for being with us and for feedback, and of course, to Paul Gudgin for this lively event!
